The Flash: Tachyon Enhancer Prototype
A game-ready replica of the Tachyon Enhancer from CW’s The Flash — 180k triangles, five PBR material sets, 26 textures at 4K, and an animated leg mechanism.
Problem
Recreate the Tachyon Enhancer prototype from CW’s The Flash as a detailed, accurate replica that collectors can display and digital artists can actually use in a scene or game engine.
Solution
Modelled from screen references with the mechanical detail kept in geometry where it reads at close range. Five PBR material sets (26 textures at 4K) separate the metals, panels and emissives; the leg mechanism is rigged and exported as an FBX animation so the device can lie flat or stand.
Result
180,000-triangle FBX/OBJ package with 4K PBR textures and animation, viewable in Sketchfab and available in the Matrix3D shop as a downloadable model.
The Tachyon Enhancer is the device Reverse Flash uses to boost his connection to the Speed Force. The goal was a collector-grade replica that also works as a real-time asset: dense enough to hold up in close-up renders, efficient enough to drop into a game engine.
What’s in the package
- FBX and OBJ, 180,000 triangles
- 5 material sets, 26 PBR textures at 4096×4096
- Leg animation in the FBX: laying position ⇄ compact standing form
