How you may use apps and WordPress plugins from Matrix3D.shop: a non-exclusive right within your tier (one person for apps, a number of websites for plugins). Lifetime licences get free security and compatibility updates for at least 5 years from purchase; yearly licences include 12 months of new versions and support and 5 years of security fixes. Keys may not be shared; a lifetime licence may be passed on as a whole. Keys may be blocked after a full refund, a chargeback or a serious breach. Your legal rights remain.
The summary is for convenience; the full text below is what applies. This software licence, also called an end-user licence agreement or EULA, sets out how you may use the software you buy or download from Matrix3D.shop: our desktop apps, such as Custom Macro Binder and Pokémon Shiny Hunter, and our WordPress plugins, such as SLUM and the Custom PostNL shipping plugin. It is part of your purchase, together with our terms and conditions. For the Custom PostNL shipping plugin, our Dutch licence page applies instead of this licence: it follows the same principles, in Dutch, with the rules and details of that plugin.
The main points
- You get a non-exclusive right to use the software within the limits of your tier: for our apps, one person; for our WordPress plugins, the number of websites of your tier.
- Lifetime licences have no end date and get free security and compatibility updates for at least 5 years from the date of purchase. Yearly licences include new versions and support for 12 months; the software keeps working after that, and security fixes stay free for at least 5 years.
- You may pass a lifetime licence on to someone else as a whole (section 8).
- Do not share or publish your key, do not sell separate activations, and do not bypass the licence check.
- After a full refund, a payment reversal or a serious breach, we may block the key.
- Your legal rights as a consumer always remain.
These points are a summary; the full text below is what applies.
1. When this licence applies
This licence is between you and Matrix3D.shop; our company details are in section 1 of our terms and conditions. It applies to every app and plugin you get from our shop, including free demos. You accept it when you buy or download the software: it is linked on the product page and in our terms, before you order. Screens in the software itself only remind you of it; they do not add new rules.
Some parts of this licence apply only to consumers, meaning private persons buying outside their trade, business or profession, and some only to business customers; they say so. Nothing in this licence limits rights that consumers have under mandatory law.
Software we develop for you on commission is covered by the quote. This licence applies to it only as far as the quote says so.
2. What each licence includes
Demo licences
A demo is free and lets you try the software on your own computer or website before you buy. It works for the period stated on the product page (currently 7 days), on one device or website, and then stops. SLUM is the exception: its code is open source, so SLUM keeps working after the demo; only updates and support from our server stop. Each device or website can use a demo once, and you can download an app demo up to 3 times within 7 days. The paid version has the same features as the demo, without the time limit, unless the product page says otherwise.
Lifetime licences
With a lifetime licence your right to use the software has no end date. “Lifetime” does not mean that we develop the software forever: section 5 says which updates you get and for how long.
Yearly licences
A yearly licence includes new versions and support for 12 months from the date of your order. After that the software keeps working as it is; only new versions and support stop until you renew. You renew by buying the same tier again: you then receive a key with 12 months of new versions and support from the date of that order. We do not renew automatically, and we send you a reminder before the 12 months end.
Our software today
- Custom Macro Binder and Pokémon Shiny Hunter (Windows apps): a free 7-day demo on one device, and a PRO licence for lifetime use by one person.
- SLUM (WordPress plugin): a free 7-day demo for one website; Single site: one website, with 12 months of new versions and support; PRO: unlimited websites, lifetime, with every release we publish.
- Custom PostNL shipping plugin (WordPress plugin): a free 7-day demo for one website, and a licence for lifetime use on one website. Our Dutch licence page has the details.
The product page shows the tiers, prices, system requirements and what each tier includes. For your order, the product page as it was when you ordered applies.
3. What you may do
We give you a non-exclusive right to install and use the software within the limits of your tier:
- Apps: for one person, you, on the devices you use yourself. The product page shows if there is a maximum number of devices that can be active at the same time. A business needs a licence for each person who uses the software.
- Plugins: on the number of websites (domains) of your tier. A test or staging copy that is active at the same time counts as an extra website; you can move your key between websites (section 4).
You may use the software for private and for business purposes, unless the product page says otherwise. You may make a backup copy and the copies needed to install and run the software.
4. Activation, the licence check and moving your key
You receive your key by e-mail right after payment and, if you have an account, also under My account → Licence keys. You enter it once in the app or plugin.
Our apps and WordPress plugins check your key with our licence server now and then, plugins at most about once an hour. They send the key, the product, a random device ID that the software creates, for plugins also the website address, and the software version; like any internet connection, our server also sees your IP address. We use this only to check and manage licences, deliver updates and prevent misuse. Our privacy policy explains how long we keep this data, the legal basis and your rights (“Licence checks and updates”).
If our server cannot be reached, our plugins keep working on the basis of their last successful check. They stop only when a demo has run out, or when the key has been blocked under section 9.
If you have an account, you can release a website or device yourself under My account → Licence keys and activate your key somewhere else, as often as you need. If you bought without an account, or that does not work, e-mail support@matrix3d.shop and we do it for you.
5. Updates
Lifetime licences: at least 5 years of security and compatibility updates
Every lifetime licence includes free security and compatibility updates for at least 5 years from the date you bought it. This also applies to lifetime licences bought before this licence was published. If we release a new major version during those 5 years, we either keep fixing your version or let you upgrade to the new version free of charge.
- Security updates fix security flaws in our software.
- Compatibility updates keep the software working as described with new versions of the platforms the product page lists as supported: Windows for our apps; WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP for our plugins.
- Other programs your setup uses, such as an emulator, a game or another plugin, are made by others. The product page says which versions we support. When such a program changes, we check whether we can support the new version, but we cannot promise this for every change.
- New features: for our apps and the PostNL plugin, new features within the same major version (for example all 1.x versions) are free, and a new major version may be a paid upgrade, except where we let you upgrade free of charge to keep your security and compatibility updates, as described above. SLUM PRO includes every release we publish, for as long as we develop SLUM. The product page says what your tier includes.
After those 5 years we may stop updating a product. Before we do, we announce it on the product page and by e-mail to licence holders. The software keeps working as it is.
Yearly licences
A yearly licence includes every new version we publish during the 12 months you paid for. After that, renew to receive new versions again. Updates that we must provide by law to keep the software working as described, such as fixes for security flaws, are not affected by this: if you need such a fix after your 12 months have ended, e-mail support@matrix3d.shop and we send it to you free of charge. Security fixes stay free for at least 5 years from the date of your purchase, also if you do not renew: when we fix a security flaw that affects your version, we e-mail you the fixed version or a download link, free of charge.
How updates reach you
- Apps show new versions inside the app; plugins show them on the Plugins screen in wp-admin. An update is installed only when you choose to install it, or when you turned on automatic updates yourself.
- We tell you which updates fix security or compatibility problems. If you do not install such an update within a reasonable time, we are not responsible for a problem caused only by the missing update, as long as we told you about the update and about what can happen if you do not install it, and the problem is not due to shortcomings in our installation instructions.
- Updates may add or improve features. We do not take away features you paid for. If an update would noticeably change or limit how you use the software, we tell you beforehand, and you can keep using your current version.
- Always make a backup of your data or website before you install software or an update, and where possible test a plugin update on a copy of your website first.
6. Support
Support means help by e-mail from the developer: questions about installing, setting up and using the software, and reports of errors. Write to support@matrix3d.shop in English or Dutch; we usually reply within 2 working days.
- Lifetime licences include support for as long as the security and compatibility updates last, so at least 5 years from the date of purchase.
- Yearly licences include support during the 12 months you paid for.
- With a demo we help you try the software.
Not included: custom development, and setting up or repairing your website, server, computer or other software. We may still help with those, sometimes against payment; we always tell you the price first. None of this limits your legal guarantee (section 10).
7. What you may not do
You may not:
- share, publish, sell or give your key to others, except with a transfer under section 8;
- use the software on more devices, websites or people than your tier allows;
- rent out, lend, sell, sublicense or distribute the software, or give others access to it, except with a transfer under section 8;
- remove, disable or bypass the licence check, or make the software believe it has a valid key when it does not;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or change the software, except as far as the law allows this despite this rule. In the EU you may, for example, make a backup copy, observe, study and test how the software works, decompile it where that is essential to make an independently created program work with it, and correct errors;
- use the software for anything unlawful.
Please report errors to us first: fixing them is our job, and we do it free of charge. You may correct an error yourself only if we do not fix it within a reasonable time, and only as far as needed for that correction.
Rules of games, platforms and emulators
Macros and automation can break the rules of a game, an online service, a platform or an emulator. You decide whether you may use our software there, so check their rules first. Measures that others take against your account under their own rules, such as a ban, are not a defect of our software, unless our product page said you could use the software there. Your legal rights, including our liability under the law, remain.
Names of games, emulators, consoles, controllers and services mentioned on our pages, such as Pokémon, Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, WordPress, WooCommerce and PostNL, are trademarks or products of their owners. Our software is not made, approved or endorsed by them.
Open source
SLUM is open source: its code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. You may use, study, change and share SLUM’s code under that licence, and nothing in this licence limits those rights. Your SLUM key is not a restriction on the code: it gives you updates from our server and support, for the websites and the period of your tier, and security fixes for at least 5 years from your purchase (section 5). The rules in this licence about keys, the licence check and blocking apply to the key and to those services. The names SLUM and Matrix3D and our logos are not licensed under the GPL.
Our apps and the Custom PostNL shipping plugin are not open source: you may use them only under this licence. Where our software contains parts made by others under an open-source licence, those parts stay under their own licence, and this licence does not limit your rights under it.
8. Transferring a licence
You may transfer a lifetime licence to one other person or business, as a whole, with all its activations. Before you do, stop using the software, delete your copies and e-mail support@matrix3d.shop, so that we can move the key to the new owner; we then remove your activations. You may not split a licence, for example a licence for several websites, and you may not keep using the software after a transfer. The new owner accepts this licence, and the update period keeps running from your purchase date.
Demos and yearly licences are personal and cannot be transferred.
If we transfer our business, we may transfer your licence and our obligations under it to the new owner of the business; your rights stay the same (section 18 of our terms and conditions).
9. When we may block a key or end a licence
We may block your key, stop updates and support and, for software that checks the key, end its use, only in these cases:
- A full refund. We refund the whole price, for example after a withdrawal, because the software was faulty, under our 3-working-day promise for licences that are digital content only (section 8.3 of our terms), or as a goodwill gesture. If you withdraw from a lifetime licence and the product page states no separate price for the key and download, we refund the whole price, so the licence ends. If we keep part of the price under section 8.3 of our terms, because the product page states a separate price for the key and download or because part of a fixed licence period was already used, your key keeps working and only updates and support stop, apart from the updates the law requires us to provide and the security fixes in section 5.
- A cancellation. We cancel the order for the licence under section 4 of our terms, also if no payment was received.
- A payment reversal. If you reverse a payment (a chargeback) for a licence you received as agreed, we may suspend the key while the dispute runs. If the payment is restored, or the dispute ends in our favour, we unblock the key. If the money does not come back to us, we send you a reminder; if you do not pay within 14 days after it, we may end the licence by e-mail.
- A serious breach. If you seriously break this licence, for example by sharing your key or using it on more devices or websites than your tier allows, we first e-mail you and give you 14 days to put it right. If the misuse continues, or cannot be put right, for example because the key was published or sold, we may block the key straight away.
When your licence ends, stop using the software and delete your copies. We may claim the damage a breach caused us, as the law allows. For SLUM, only the key and our services end; your rights under the GPL stay.
Your own data, such as macros, settings or shipping rates you created, stays on your device or website, and you can export it where the software offers that.
You can end a licence yourself at any time by removing the software. You only get money back where the law or our terms say so.
Section 9.1 of our terms and conditions lists when a licence ends or is suspended; this section follows it. If you buy as a business, section 20 of our terms also lets us end a licence at once, without a refund, if you share or resell a key other than by a transfer under section 8, or use it beyond your licence.
10. Your legal rights
The software must match its description on the product page and work as you may reasonably expect on a system that meets the requirements stated there. If it does not, you have the rights in section 12 of our terms and conditions: we fix it free of charge. If we cannot or will not do that, it takes too long or causes you serious inconvenience, it does not solve the problem, or the problem is serious, you get a price reduction or, unless the problem is minor, your money back.
To find the cause of a problem, we may ask for information about your system, such as the Windows or the WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions, other plugins, an error message, a log file or a screenshot. We use the least intrusive way, and we only ask for remote access if there is no other way and you agree. If you do not help us and the cause may lie in your own system, you may have to show that the software was faulty when you received it.
Keys and downloads are delivered straight away at your request. Delivery has started as soon as you start the download or activate the key, whichever comes first; from then on you can no longer withdraw from them, and until then you still can, within 14 days after the day the contract was made (section 8.3 of our terms). You confirm this at checkout, and we confirm it in your order e-mail. For licences that are digital content only, that is all: the updates and the help by e-mail are part of the software, and section 8.3 of our terms describes our 3-working-day promise. For our other licences, the updates and support included with a licence are a service. If you withdraw within 14 days, section 8.3 of our terms explains what we refund: if the product page states which part of the price is for the key and download, that part is not refunded; otherwise the whole price counts as the updates-and-support part. If the whole price is refunded, the licence ends and we may block the key (section 9). Where there is a free demo, try it first: it lets you check the software on your own system before you buy.
Business customers have no right of withdrawal.
11. Security
Found a security problem in our software? E-mail the details to support@matrix3d.shop, in English or Dutch; our security page explains what to include. We aim to confirm receipt within 2 working days, fix confirmed problems first, and tell licence holders by e-mail when they need to update and what to do. If a security flaw in our software is actively exploited, we report it to the Dutch National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), as the EU Cyber Resilience Act requires, and we inform the users concerned.
12. Liability
If you are a consumer, we are liable as the law provides. If you buy as a business, section 13.2 of our terms and conditions limits our liability: in short, to the amount you paid for the order concerned or, for a licence with a fixed period, the amount paid in the 12 months before the event, with no liability for indirect damage, and a claim must be reported within 12 months. These limits never apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow a limit.
For all customers: if data is lost and a normal backup would have prevented that, that part of the damage is not for our account (section 13.1 of our terms). Section 13 of our terms and conditions decides on liability.
13. Extra rules for business customers
If you buy as a business, these rules also apply:
- When we ask, you tell us on which websites or devices, and by how many people, the software is used.
- If you share or resell a key other than by a transfer under section 8, or use software on more websites, devices or people than you paid for, we may end that licence at once, without a refund (section 20 of our terms and conditions).
- You indemnify us against claims of others that result from how you or your customers used the software against this licence, the law or the rules of a game, platform or service.
14. Applicable law and court
Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer living outside the Netherlands, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
If you are a consumer, disputes go to the court the law designates: you can take us to court in the Netherlands or where you live, and we can only take you to court in the country where you live. If you buy as a business, disputes go to the competent court in the district where Matrix3D.shop is established, unless the law gives another court jurisdiction in a way that cannot be changed by agreement, and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply. Section 19 of our terms decides.
15. This licence, our terms and later changes
This licence and our terms and conditions together form the agreement about the software. On the legal guarantee, liability, the applicable law and the competent court, our terms apply. Your rights under mandatory consumer law always remain.
We may update this licence. The date at the top shows the latest version. The version that was valid when you placed your order applies to that order, and we do not change the licence of software you already bought to your disadvantage without your consent.
This licence replaces the “End User License Agreement – Matrix3D Universal” (PDF, January 2026) and the licence terms of the PostNL plugin (PDF, March 2025) for orders placed after this licence page was first published. Earlier orders fall under the document that applied then, as far as the law allows; where this licence is more favourable to you, you may rely on this licence instead. E-mail us and we send you the version that applied to your order.
